As an IT Technical/Project Manager with twelve years of hands-on experience and now the CEO of SilverPoint Systems, Mike Garcia has the ability to effectively identify problems and provide IT solutions in a number of areas based on your unique needs. A Microsoft Certified Professional and a CompTIA A+ certified technician, Mike specializes in virtualization, data centre layout, network design, technical services and employee management. His extensive work in network engineering and systems administration has allowed Mike to obtain a high degree of applicable knowledge. He now brings that expertise to SilverPoint, allowing him to oversee the company's operations to ensure greater profitability, growth, efficiency and quality of service for both our organization and yours.

Rob Gjertsen has a wide variety of experience within the technology industry, specializing in workstation, server and infrastructure administration and management. As a former Internet Service Provider Systems Administrator, Rob brings an added flavour of 12 years of Linux and cPanel based webhosting server experience, and 14 years of industry experience, to our team at SilverPoint. As the COO at SilverPoint Systems, Rob is responsible for overseeing all support related services and spearheading our support Team. Rob studied Computer Science at the University of Northern British Columbia, is a Comptia A+ Certified Professional IT Technician, and is committed to continuing his education in new technologies. Rob firmly believes in proper systems administrator and computer technician practices and ethics, is a member of the Computer Technology Industry Association, the Comptia IT Professional Community.

Chris joined SilverPoint for the second time in December 2015 to lead the Service Team. His background is in Team Leadership and Systems Design with a focus on End User Technologies (Messaging, Unified Communication, Desktop Virtualization etc..). He loves thinking about technology and it’s impact on the organization. He lives in Langley with his wife Laura. Since he lives in the Pacific Northwest he's obviously a fan of dark coffee, a good microbrew and all types of flannel.

He brings his experience and knowledge from his previous occupations as Tier1/Tier2 Helpdesk Support and Senior Field Technician. Francis understands the significance of IT issues and its effects on a company’s bottom line. Francis is committed in providing great customer service and technical support for SilverPoint’s client base.

He brings his experience and knowledge from his previous occupations including using his expertise in the technical industry to diagnose, analyze, and fix computers infected with viruses. Replacing hardware and building computers to customer specifications and fixing software applications. His priority is customer satisfaction and is continually looking for ways to put the customer first!

James has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Data Processing Management. For further education he has enrolled in a program Applied Network Administration and Design at BCIT. James has a broad experience and intuition in IT Systems design and administration which have been a help to many companies. He started his career as a Systems Analyst/Programmer. Programming is not lost in today’s IT and has crept up to application and network systems, not just system development. He will welcome any work on SQL scripts, VB scripts, Automation, Powershell and other scripting tools. To keep up with the evolution of technology and eventually worked as an IT Generalist - with experience in designing and management of virtual and cloud systems, network, and applications. Troubleshooting application/network systems and customer support is one of his strengths.

Jeremy graduated from SAIT in Calgary with a Bachelors of Applied Information Systems, majoring in Network Engineering. Having worked in the IT industry in a variety of rolls for the past decade, repair depot tech, Helpdesk, System Administrator, and Field Technician, he joined our team in September 2015. He is to support and administer a wide variety of technologies, is able and capable of adapting to new situations quickly, and always strives to provide excellent customer service.
